Modern Farmhouse Conversion

This project consisted of a full-gut modernization of an existing 1980's suburban home in Erindale Woodlands in Mississauga. The exterior was updated to reflect a new aesthetic. Every floor was reconfigured to create generous spaces. The main floor was lowered to give additional ceiling height and drama to the primary level. The basement was underpinned more than three feet to maintain generous ceilings below grade. The centre of the house was opened to create a grand hallway with feature stair, wall panelling and skylights. The kitchen contains a secret door to a generous butler's pantry.
